2018 Resource Parent of the Year
Ms. Ayers
Ms. Ayers has consistently gone above and beyond for foster care youth in her care. She maintains frequent contact with biological parents, supervises visits, ensures that they are kept abreast of medical appointments and encourages them to stay positive.
Currently, Ms. Ayers has three foster care youth in her home, all under the age of 8. She ensures that they get to all appointments which are many as the two youngest have quite a few medical challenges. Ms. Ayers does all this without complaint and with a big smile on her face.
